Yes, Smashwords along with Indie Writers and Readers continues to "smash" through barriers to publishing and reading. And rejection? What's that? Is "rejection" a new word? :)Candi Silkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02901692439639194801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7436915084701775452.post-69868885280646708812014-03-01T11:38:33.053-08:002014-03-01T11:38:33.053-08:00I applaud Mark and smashwords in providing a remar...I applaud Mark and smashwords in providing a remarkable service to both authors and readers alike!Rosemary McKinleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13669748585547232693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7436915084701775452.post-36021751171533280532014-03-01T04:59:29.121-08:002014-03-01T04:59:29.121-08:00Congratulations Mark and to all Smashwords authors...Congratulations Mark and to all Smashwords authors. Readers can;t share the great news about your book if they have never heard about it. The trouble is maintaining a balance between new material and some promotion. Self publishing is wonderful, but writing is work, and it takes more than typing a few words on the page, to create a book. Writers need to edit and proofread their work, before it's published. They need to take pride, just like you do with Smashwords. True success takes work and lots of effort. It doesn't happen by chance. Writers need to remember this, especially when they're publishing their books for anyone to read.

MJ, A to Z Challenge Co-Host
Writing Tips
Effectively Human
Lots of Crochet Stitches

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7436915084701775452.post-56738316368919606732014-02-25T14:20:29.162-08:002014-02-25T14:20:29.162-08:00I loved that phrase, "to reject rejection&quo...I loved that phrase, "to reject rejection" and though I am not a Smashwords author, I heartily applaud the achievement and hard work of so many.
Well done and thank you.
