As regards the comment about all Smashwords authors getting onto the Nook, I have all my books in the Premium Catalogue, the last three or four without any blips/corrections in formatting. Your StyleGuide Mark is excellent and if followed, entry into the Premium catalogue is seamless. Thank you for all the work you do to help successful publishing and distribution.Rosalie Marsh. It's good to know that B&N are now in the UK because next to Apple and Smashwords they're my biggest retailer. With any luck, we'll all see our sales increase over the next few months, and that's definitely good news! The devices are being sold in Blackwell’s, Foyles, Sainsbury’s, John Lewis, Waitrose and Argos, and B&N has also announced that Nook’s Simple Touch and Simple Touch Glowlight models are now to be sold in Asda also.

Tube and print press ads will be rolled out out over the next week, centering on the benefits of the Nook Glowlight model for reading at night. The top line of the advert is “Amazing in bed” with a picture of the Glowlight shining.

Patrick Rouvillois, International managing director for Nook, said: “This is a common clash between couples at bedtime. Our new campaign sheds light on this age-old issue and celebrates its resolution with Nook Simple Touch GlowLight, the first device perfected for both bedtime and outdoor reading.”

Also used in the campaign is the slogan, "Long live the new king of the e-readers."

TV advertising began running over the weekend during programmes including “The X Factor”, “Downton Abbey” and “Coronation Street”.

ps I posted thisa little earlier and it came out as a comment on the Apple news.meh!rdlecoeurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08660235486164136347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7436915084701775452.post-78981952737752273732012-11-01T06:55:00.559-07:002012-11-01T06:55:00.559-07:00Yes, great news for Smashwords authors!Yes, great news for Smashwords authors!Tommy S.
